Beaupre held its first ever career week in February. The week kicked off with Junior Achievement. Volunteers from area businesses taught lessons in such topics as money, needs & wants, jobs in the community, and business concepts. Students enjoyed these engaging lessons! In the days that followed, professionals from the community spoke to Beaupre students about their careers. Students learned about being a firefighter, a marketing professional, a veterinarian, a dentist, a coder, a farmer, and a brain surgeon. Fifth grade students even took a field trip to Corydon. Students learned a great deal about these professions and gained much insight by the question and answer sessions. Thank you to all the volunteers that support the students at Beaupre Elementary School. Your involvement is much appreciated!
