W.S. Beaupre Elementary School is located in Aurora, Illinois in East Aurora School District 131. Approximately 270 students attend from kindergarten to fifth grade. Beaupre recently celebrated its centennial in 2015. Beaupre Elementary School works closely with the community to enrich its students learning experiences. Currently, Beaupre has over 20 sponsors and partners who provide resources for meaningful learning opportunities for students. Our school prides itself in establishing partnerships with both community and families to provide students a supportive and positive learning environment.
Beaupre Elementary has adopted the Common Core State Standards as a framework of establishing clear learning expectations for all students. Beaupre offers general education classes, bilingual and sheltered classes, and two special education classes. In addition to these homeroom classes, Beaupre offers music, physical education, art, technology, and library to all students. Beaupre is a PBIS school which teaches students behavior expectations that center on Being Respectful, Being Responsible, and Being Safe. An anti-bullying curriculum has been adopted to address the area of bullying.
Beaupre students will be empowered to reach their full potential through high academic expectations, strong partnerships with home and community, the modeling of integrity, and exposure to diversity in a safe nurturing environment.
